Getting Started

What is A Walk in the Park?
A Walk in the Park is a beautiful indoor dog park, café, and community space in Sandy, UT — a place for tails to wag, friendships to grow, and coffee to always be brewing. We're pre-opening now, with founding memberships and park passes available before doors officially open.
When do you open?
We're in our final pre-opening stretch! Follow our updates page and sign up for a free pass to be the first to know our official opening date.
How do I visit for the first time?
Before your first visit, you'll need current vaccination records on file and a completed temperament pre-test for your dog. Check our Dog Requirements page for the full details, then grab a day pass or explore our Founding Membership options.
Where are you located?
Sandy, UT.

Memberships & Passes

What's the difference between a Founding Membership and a regular membership?
Founding Memberships (Supreme Good Dog, Supreme Top Dog) are a limited, one-time offer available only before we open, with exclusive founder perks you won't find in our standard tiers. Our standard membership tiers will launch separately once we're open. The two are priced and named differently, so check the Founder's Membership page for what's currently available.
Are Founding Memberships refundable?
Yes — every Founding Membership is 100% refundable until opening day, so there's no risk in claiming your spot early.
Does a membership actually pay off, or should I just buy passes?
At $15 a visit for a single Park Pass, here's about how often you'd need to visit each month for a membership to save you money: Supreme Good Dog pays off at roughly 2 visits/month, and Supreme Top Dog at roughly 2.5 visits/month. If you're a regular, a membership is the better deal.
Do I need a membership to visit?
Nope — no commitment required. Our Park Passes give you full access to all play zones for a 2-hour visit, no membership needed. Reservations are suggested.
How much is a single day pass?
A single Park Pass is $15 per visit ($5/dog for additional dogs in the same family). If you plan to visit often, the Paw Print Pass bundle (10 visits for $135, visit 9 times get 1 free) saves you $15.
Do passes expire?
No — Paw Print Pass visits never expire. Use them whenever you like.

Safety & Requirements

What do I need before my dog's first visit?
Current vaccination records on file and a completed temperament pre-test. This keeps the park safe and comfortable for every dog and every visitor. Full details are on our Dog Requirements page.

Can I book a birthday party?
Yes! Visit our Barkday Parties page for details.

Get Involved

How can I sponsor the park?
We'd love that! Sponsorships are one per category — your industry, your spotlight, no competitors sharing the space. Details are on our Sponsorship page.
How can I invest in A Walk in the Park?
We're looking for a handful of community investors to help build more than a dog park — a warm gathering place for Salt Lake dog people, from the ground up. See our Investor Information page for tiers and details.
